Why XIXOUT

The right message. To the right people.

XIXOUT is being developed to help companies communicate with investors, tokenholders and shareholders in the complex environment of capital markets and financial innovation. Its purpose is to turn professionally approved rules into an understandable workflow and reduce mistakes in content, audience and channel selection.

Plan your audience and channel
  1. Product and responsibility

Assess the issuer, instrument, required permissions and target countries before contacting an audience.

  2. Verified audience

Token holdings, investor category and product target market are separate matters. An unverified declaration is not access approval.

  3. Content and channel

Company reporting and financial promotion are different. Each specific version, language and channel needs the relevant review.

  4. Approval and evidence

Record the approved scope, decision grounds, evidence validity and changes. Uncertain cases require human review.

Communication preparation

Context first. Communication next.

Five working choices help prepare an evidence checklist for professional review of company communication. Do not enter personal data or the content of a proposed message.

This is not an investment questionnaire, client categorisation, suitability or appropriateness assessment, or legal permission. Your choices do not establish the product’s legal classification or a recipient’s eligibility.

What do you need to communicate?

A working assumption only. Legal classification requires evidence and professional review.

Consider intended distribution, not automatically the company’s domicile or language.

Factual reporting and promotion are not interchangeable; the actual content matters.

A token holder is not automatically a professional client. An invitation or this choice does not verify status.

Private material does not belong on a public channel. MEETOUT is only a proposed channel here, not an active event.

Choices stay only in this page’s memory. Nothing is stored or sent; reloading clears your selection.

Preparation checklist

Choose a working context and prepare a checklist. Unknown answers are fine; they do not grant any permission.

This is a preparation list, not publication permission. It does not verify holdings, professional status, consent or other legal grounds and does not activate AERA, a connector or MEETOUT.

A questionnaire is not a universal investor passport.

Audience preparation, client categorisation, suitability and appropriateness are separate processes. A locally qualified fund investor can still be a retail client under another rule. Answers, wealth or a token alone do not establish legal status. An actual investment questionnaire must follow the specific service, approved methodology and responsible authorised entity; this preview does not perform that assessment or collect personal financial data.

Rules for the particular case

An overview of relevant frameworks, not a complete legal opinion. Applicability depends on the product, service, responsible entity and target market. Legal sources checked on 22 October 2026; changes require a new review.

MiFID II · 2014/65/EU

Target market, client categories and information. Suitability and appropriateness are separate service-specific assessments; neither a token nor a checkbox replaces them.

Primary sources MiFID II · 24

MiCA · (EU) 2023/1114

Cryptoasset classification, relevant marketing rules and a white paper where required. Financial instruments are excluded from MiCA; ARTs and EMTs have distinct rules.

AIFMD / UCITS · (EU) 2019/1156

Fund marketing depends on manager, fund, target state and client. Not every fund is professional-only. Marketing must be consistent with documentation and balance risks and benefits.

ZISIF / ZPKT · ČR

Czech fund, management and distribution requirements. A qualified investor under ZISIF is not automatically a professional client under ZPKT; assess the specific regime.

Primary sources

Prospectus · (EU) 2017/1129 / MAR · (EU) 596/2014

Prospectus, advertising and applicable public disclosure or inside-information obligations. A community room does not replace mandatory public disclosure.

Rules also apply on social media. Relevant products require a specific lawful communication or approval route. There is no blanket retail ban or automatic permission after a questionnaire.

Primary sources

TVTG · Liechtenstein

Rules for certain TT-system services. TVTG registration is not a universal financial licence or European passport; assess further permissions and the current MiCA relationship separately.

GDPR / ePrivacy

Lawful basis, minimisation, security, profiling transparency, retention and individual rights. Assess direct-marketing and channel requirements separately; one consent cannot be presumed everywhere.

One responsibility. Different channels.

The design covers company rooms, email, social media and other approved channels. Private material must not become a public post merely because someone can read it. A public network cannot itself guarantee a restricted audience; required information and warnings cannot be replaced with a footer link. External connectors and automatic sending are not active in this release.

MEETOUT follows the same principles.

Invitations, agendas, presentations and recordings need assessment based on their actual content and audience. A closed event is not an automatic financial-promotion exemption. A member event is distinct from an official company event; an RSVP grants no access to other rooms or documents. MEETOUT includes event preparation, human approval, capacity and RSVP. Live events require an activated and verified private network; the public demo is separate.
